Based on his fondness of video games and metal, he decided to combine the two elements, having been inspired by musicians on YouTube like CSGuitar89 and FreddeGredde.Īt the time he was a high school graduate, he began working part-time as a technician at a software company for a flexible number of hours. When his third band disbanded, he decided that he wasn't going to do band stuff anymore because he felt that the more people were to be involved, the more likely that it was going to tank. He was almost always slated to play lead guitars. He joined many bands over the years, only for them to be unsuccessful. However, he also made sure not to ignore some other styles such as Jazz and Blues knowing that he would probably need those skills in the future as well. He loved playing riffs by some bands that influenced his early life, including Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, and Dream Theater. His first guitar was a standard Rogue Dreadnought Acoustic guitar, but shortly after, he purchased an Ibanez SA QMAM Electric Guitar, so he could play in bands around his town. He went completely self-taught, mostly reading books and online tutorials and tabs until he felt he was disciplined enough to forge on without them. He had played piano and a little bit of drums before, but never really got serious into music until then. Jules received his first guitar during Christmas of 2006. Titles that influenced Jules the most were various titles such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, Banjo Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, and even Ocarina of Time. During his early years, video games influenced his childhood, and music was his favorite outreach subject during his school days. Jules was born in western Massachusetts, United States on June 11, 1991.
